M4X WW was originally a white 1995 Mk3.5 Ford Fiesta, After an accident this car was unfortunately written off! To visit the 'old' site for this car which showed its progress, spec and many photos please go to.. www.m4xww.co.uk/mk3

The M4X WW plate is now on my new car which I acquired in June 2007, I got the car from a friend who did all of the paintwork on my old car. After a while I decided the car you see below would be an ample replacement! Being a newer car, The Mk4 Fiesta had a revised interior, different body and this example has numerous modifications.

The idea of this site, Is to (as briefly as possible) show the specification of the car, updates, photos and the odd bit of related video which will be hosted on YouTube. You will find all that I've mentioned somewhere below..

In this section of the site, I will (very occasionally) post random happenings with M4X WW! Good or inevitably bad..

03.03.08 - Realised I didnt have a Rolling Road graph on here so I have added my latest one below!

26.02.08 - Re-Fuelled! 200 miles to the tank, £35 of V-Power, 29mpg :-)

20.02.08 - Happy late new year! Car's not moved much over the winter, Looking forward to the summer though!

28.11.07 - Car is now running well, FRP Map has not increased power. Top end is slightly rich (needs frp cams I guess)

24.11.07 - Rolling road run showed the car was running lean, New MAF should have fixed it. Trax Pic's added!

22.10.07 - Car has recently had a new alternator, clutch and is soon to visit the rolling road!

25.10.07 - Site launched, That's about it really :-)

So with a non standard Puma engine, How quick is it? Well the car isn't the fastest thing in the world but with nearly double the power of my first car its a step up! The most current rolling road figures and graph are shown below, along with times from two 0-60 runs I completed at Trax 2007, Not too bad for the power! (FRP Book 0-60 is 7.9 with 155PS)

On the road I love the way the car drives, I have always got on well with the driving position of the Fiesta and with the interior this car has it just improves things! From pulling away in 1st gear the car tends to spin up if you are not careful as with the Racing Puma map the torque limiters in early gears are removed. Once in second gear, 7000rpm should see you to around 65mph. That's about as fast as you'd want to go in the UK so I wont mention the other gears ;-)

Surrey Rolling Road, November 2007 - 135bhp @ 6750rpm, 125lb/ft @ 4500rpm

Trax 2007, 0-60 Sprint - Run 1, 7.91 seconds - Run 2, 7.79 seconds

Last bit of the site here! Just want to say thanks to Chris for doing nearly all of the work on the car when he owned it and also to him and Tom for helping me home when the clutch decided to die a few weeks after getting the car!
